Primitivo del Salento
Top of the range Primitivo, produces from 100% Primitivo grapes grown in the hot and sunny vineyards surrounding the cellar of Castello Monaci, age for about 12 months in small oak casks and develops for a further 6 months in bottle.
It has a bright, deep, ruby red colour, a very pronounced and complex bouquet with strong hints of fruit of the forest in perfect balance with sweet balsamic notes and spicy aromas. The flavor is full, warm, gentle and very pervasive, with soft and elegant tannins.
