Casina Metrano is a traditional country house nestled amongst the magical scenery of Castello Monaci. Over 100 years old, it has been refurbished to the highest standard in a traditional style using only local materials.
Casina Metrano is surrounded by vineyards and is only a few kilometres from the magnificient beaches of the Ionian coast. Casina Metrano has four large en-suite rooms each equipped with air conditioning, television, minibar and hairdryer.

All rooms are simply and tastefully decorated to help make your holiday both comfortable and relaxing. Guests can also enjoy a beautifully appointed kitchen / dining room, private parking and exclusive use of the woods and gardens surrounding Castello Monaci.

Wine tasting

The wine museum is located in the Castello Monaci winery which dates back to the 1930s. It displays traditional wine-making tools and equipment from that era and before, allowing you to experience the world of wine through all its phases, from the vine to the bottle. As well as being able to taste the excellent wines produced by Castello Monaci, you will have the opportunity to visit its celler, one of the most important in the South of Italy, and to buy many typical products produced by the Castello such as olive oil, olives, pasta, sauces, preserves etc.
